The Abbey in Grimbergen first began brewing beer around 1128.  They became well known for providing their freshly brewed libations to visitors.

Grimbergen makes one of the few Dubbels we carry.  A Dubbel has gone through two fermentation processes resulting in a malty, but rarely bitter ale with thick rich head.
